Pressure regulator : It is an electronic control device to reduce the pressure of CNG from 200 bar to 1 bar and allowing a regular flow of gas every time the engine requires it.
It is equipped with 3 natural gases reduction stages that allows stability at both high & low pressure and a high pressure solenoid valve upstream from first stage. The absorption of heat taken from parts of the reduction unit heated with the liquid of the engine cooling circuits prevents the natural gas breezing during the fall in pressure phase
The flow of gas necessary for engine idling has a positive pressure from the second stage & is activated by means of a gas pipe separated from main flow.
High Pressure Solenoid (CNG) Valve : It is located at the inlet of the regulator which trips & shuts off if the engine starts or is switched off.
Air CNG Mixer : It is a device that ensures correct mixing of air & CNG and is designed specifically for different vehicles.
High Pressure Pipe : It is made of steel suitable to carry high pressure CNG to the pressure regulator.
Low Pressure Pipe : It is a flexible pipe which carries CNG from pressure regulator to the air CNG mixer
CNG Cylinder : A seamless cylinder made of high steel alloy which stores CNG at 200 bar pressure.
Cylinder Valve : It is installed at the mouth of the Cylinder allowing the inflow of CNG during refueling & out flow of CNG to the pressure regulator when the vehicle is operating on CNG mode.
Refueling Valve : It is a device through which CNG is filled into the cylinder. It is installed between cylinder & pressure regulator on the high pressure pipe in the engine compartment. It is equipped with a manual closing system
Petrol Solenoid: An electronic device that Regulates petrol flow & equipped with a manual shut off know.
Selector Switch : To choose from CNG & petrol or diesel.
