SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE ( SEZ )

SKN Group has taken initiative in the new project , the Special Economic Zone SEZ.The group has launched two SEZ with over 42.9 million Sq. ft of ready to built infrastructure.

The SEZ being developed are:-

(1)        Multi Services  SEZ—Gurgaon District - 168 Hectares.

Formal approval granted by government of India to develop as Multiservices SEZ, strategically located near Gurgaon ,will cover an area of Approx.421 acres. The SEZ will be integrated multiservices and will cater to a multitude of export oriented industries essentially engaged in providing services like trading and warehousing services ,computer software services , professional services, construction and related services,
EducationalEnvironmental, Financial, Hospital & Healthcare, Tourism, Transport, Recreational,  Biotechnology and Entertainment Services.

Besides integrated multiple services it will also consist of residential option, Commercial option, amenties, facilities and other supporting social infrastructures. It will provide an excellent multiservices options to cater a multi export oriented industries.

The proposed SEZ is perceived to be the preferred destination of Global Business, Living, Learning and recreation.
The project is expected to bring about an investment of approx.Rs.8100 crores over the entire development period.

INFRASTRUCTURE
Over 39 million Sq.ft of ready built infrastructure will be developed by SKN including business centres for trading zone, logistic park, warehouse, shops and other commercial development offices, hotels and services apartments, community facilities / amenities etc.

(2)        Multi-Product SEZ-Near Panipat (Haryana)- 1000 Hectares (2500 acres)-
Location   NH-1

The Multi –Product SEZ is strategically located in Panipat - Karnal multifunctional corridor in close proximity to NH-1 near panipat which the group will develop into a world class integrated SEZ spread over an area of approx .2500 acres. The Zone will house multi-product SEZ where export oriented industries essentially engaged in export of Automobile and auto parts , metal processing and engineering industry , textiles and garments, pharmaceuticals, food processing, electronic goods, leather goods, biotechnology etc can be established.

Besides dedicated manufacturing Zone, it will also consist of residential and commercial option, amenities, facilities and other supporting social infrastructures. It shall provide an excellent manufacturing options for setting-up multiproduct units for export.

Rs.1700 crores (approx) will be invested by SKN as developer of the SEZ.Rs.9000 crores is expected to be the total investment in fixed assets of Industrial, Commercial and residential stock.

 INFRASTRUCTURE
Appx.3.25 million Sq.ft of ready built infrastructure will be developed over the four phases of the project including business centres for trading zone, logistic parks and warehouses, shops and other commercial developments, offices , hotels and services apartments, community facilities/ amenities etc.
